Mother Narmada

Narmada River the Mother of Gujarat state provides water to almost all the districts of Gujarat State. It is one of the main rivers on the bank of which several villages are established. In the Narmada district of Gujarat state a SardarSarovar Dam is built for providing planned water supply in the state. The water reaches the most interior villages with the highly networked canal.

To make the people aware of the importance of this river and the SardarSarovar Project exhibitions were designed by Manthan for SardarSarovar Nigam Ltd. The exhibitions mainly displayed the Narmada river as the mother river for Gujarat, Agriculture, Drinking water and also on Hydro Energy. Working models of the Dam and Hydro Energy were developed to interest more people in the subject.

These exhibitions were displayed during Vibrant Gujarat Summit in the Gujarat State.
