S&T Entrepreneurship Development Programmes

One of the main objectives of Manthan is to promote development with the support of Science and Technology. Science and Development hold hands together and are interlinked. Manthan has worked on several S&T based Entrepreneurship trainings which deal with generating employment and enterprises with S&T inputs. Since almost a decade Manthan has gained a grip over such programmes and has been working actively in the areas like Kutchh, Bharuch, Surendranagar and Narmada mainly. Manthan has imparted several short term trainings across the state and also some at national level.

These trainings not only have brought employment in the places but also have improved the lifestyle of the people in the community. Manthan has worked on several S&T based entrepreneurship projects for National and International Institutions like National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Government of India, UNESCO, Government of Gujarat, etc.

Manthan has been link and a part of the national relations landscape, influencing various villages and communities at large through training and development of skills, being directly involved in local action through mobilizing the government support. One such role of Manthan is also in the STED Project which falls under the Science & Technology Department of Indian Government.

Qualitative change is a slow process, so Manthan mainly works on such projects for a longer duration and trains the people in all the aspects right from tradition, ideation, designing, production, packaging, marketing, communication, accounting and management for a sustainable development. Manthan focuses on a qualitative development rather than quantitative development.
