This kit was prepared for the Institute of Plasma Research, Ahmedabad – a renowned scientific institution. The kit consists of 20 activities that are meant for students to understand the basics of plasma, as a concept, as an advanced state of energy and its applications. The range of activities are from the very basic that would explain the plasma state through a few beads in a box to creating a dummy Tokamak that confines fusion plasmas above 100 million degrees inside it through magnetic coils. This kit is first of its kind in India, and perhaps the world on a subject as niche as plasma.
