Superstitions are prevalent in rural India when it comes to a lot of phenomena that we consider scientific  – like thunderstorms, lightning, even accidental deaths and illness. To counter these myths that result in a lot of harm, Manthan designed a kit that involved posters and activities that would in the vernacular explain to the local people the actual reasoning behind these activities. Thus the goal of the kit is to quell superstition with science.
